Quadrajet Modification Stage 1:

• Install primary throttle shaft bushings in the baseplate to remove any vacuum leaks at the shaft and ensure proper throttle movement.
• Epoxy seal the main body casting plugs to eliminate “leak down” from the Primary float bowl.
• Re-surface the baseplate to ensure a flat surface for mounting to the manifold.
• Install Adjustable Part Throttle to allow adjustment of the primary metering circuit at part throttle and cruise.
• Replace all necessary gaskets and accelerator pump.
• Replace the fuel filter.
• Install a new high flow needle and seat assembly.
• Replace the existing float with a Nitrophyl float that won’t crack or sink.
