I installed this Stage 2 Q-Jet on my 1996 GMC Sonoma (S-10) extended cab 2 wheel drive pickup. Running a 5.7 Vortec carbureted with a 0.480 lift, 227int. 241 exh. duration on 107 deg. centerline. This cam is way out of spec on the high end for this carb per Jet’s specs. It starts and runs and performs perfectly. Actually better than expected! I highly recommend these carbs!! I have purchased several for our marine business and every one comes in looking absolutely brand new. Not remanufactured. They perform as good as they look. Very impressed!

I had a 80′ z-28 4 14 years and the factory M4ME I believe 795cfm quad was awesome and even better with base ign timing between 12.5-13 deg btdc. That 350 picked up probably 40-50 ponies. Factory 7sec to 60 , My way 6sec to 60. No was’nt going to win many drag races but with the rear disc brakes and a gov-lock gear carrier it had pretty good traction with 275-50-15 BFGoodrich(265 front).Anyway good to hear some places still making/rebuilding quadrajet. Oh yes there was an article in Hot Rod where They tested 5 carbs. 2 Holleys, an Edelbrock, a Quadrajet and I cant remember the last 1 but the Quadrajet won overall.
