This Carburetor will work on modified engines not exceeding the following:
Dual Plane Aluminum Intake Manifold
Headers (1 5/8″ – 1 3/4″), Compensation Ratio 8.5 – 9.5:1
Mild Porting on Cylinder Heads or Performance Heads
Camshaft Specifications: Duration @ .050 Min. 210 Degrees, Max. 220 Degrees
Lobe Separation Angle 110-112 Degrees

This carburetor is awesome on the basically stock 396 in my 70 Chevelle. Used it to replace a carb custom built by one of the more popular online shops that specializes in Q-Jet carbs, which ran like garbage. This Jet Performance carb was better in every way (and less expensive).
